This full body coffee is like walking off trail in the forests of the Oregon coast. Stepping onto the thick spongy humus, and letting the sweet aroma of the forest surround you. The earth-toned coffee has notes of cedar, cocoa and pipe tobacco, and a thick body that will linger, kind of like your desire to return to the forest.
This Lintong coffee is from Sigumpar Village, in the northern Sumatran sub-district of Humbang Hasunduntan. It comes from a family milling operation in town operated by a man named Pak Alex. The coffee is grown at 1400 and 1500 meters above sea level, wet hulled, and sun dried.
